Über English Club

English Club ist ein Bildungssender für das Englischlernen. Der Sender läuft rund um die Uhr und ist seit dem 16. Juni 2022 in Russland auch unter dem Namen English Class bekannt.

Im Mittelpunkt stehen Dokumentar- und Spielfilme, Zeichentrickfilme und Musikvideos, die für das Englischlernen angepasst sind. Das Programm ist nach Themen und Sprachniveaus gegliedert und in sechsstündigen Blöcken organisiert, mit mehreren Mini-Blöcken für unterschiedliche Themen und Sprachaufgaben.

Alle Moderatoren der Sendungen sind Muttersprachler. Die Methodik des Senders baut auf einem kommunikativen Ansatz und Sprachimmersion ohne Verwendung der Muttersprache als Vermittler auf. Nach Angaben des Senders deckt ein Jahr täglicher 15-minütiger Einheiten etwa 2000 neue Wörter und 100 grammatische Strukturen ab.

Der Sender wird per Satellit mit Abdeckung Europas, Asiens und Afrikas verbreitet. English Club ist über russische und internationale Kabel- und Satellitenfernsehanbieter sowie über IPTV/OTT-Plattformen und mobile Apps empfangbar.
