Über 4seven

4seven [UK] ist ein britischer Free-TV-Sender aus der Channel-4-Familie, der am 4. Juli 2012 startete. Vor dem Start trug das Projekt den Arbeitstitel Project Shuffle, Eigentümer ist die Channel Four Television Corporation.

Die Idee von 4seven besteht in Wiederholungen von Channel-4-Programmen, die nach der Erstausstrahlung besonders viel Aufmerksamkeit bekommen haben. Im Programm erscheinen aktuelle Publikumserfolge, Dokumentationen, Unterhaltung, Serien, Reality-Formate und Spezialsendungen.

Der Sender sendet auf Englisch und funktioniert als Begleitkanal zu den meistdiskutierten Teilen des Channel-4-Programms. Die Programmlinie besteht aus Wiederholungen, Themenblöcken und kuratierten Auswahlstrecken rund um starke Ausgaben des Hauptprogramms.
