About Матур ТВ (Matur TV)
Matur TV is a Tatar-Bashkir music and entertainment channel in the Tatar and Bashkir languages. It broadcasts around the clock in Full HD and is devoted to the music, culture and pop scene of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan.
The name "Matur" means "beautiful" in Bashkir and supports the channel’s image. The schedule is led by music videos from Bashkir, Tatar and Russian performers, concert selections, entertainment shows and music-industry news.
One notable project is "Matur mon ilende", the Bashkir counterpart to "Igray, garmon, lyubimaya!" (Play, Accordion, My Dear). The format presents the cultural features of different districts of the Republic of Bashkortostan, combining music, folk traditions and stories from local communities. The channel was registered on 29 May 2017 and went on air in March 2018. Matur TV is distributed through cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks, and the schedule includes music videos, concerts, music blocks and entertainment editions.
