1. General Provisions
This section describes the refund and subscription cancellation terms for the TVClub service operated by TVClub Media OÜ. These terms are an integral part of the Terms of Service.
TVClub provides services without long-term contracts or commitments. You only pay for the subscription period you choose.
2. Free Trial Period
Upon registration, the User may be granted a free trial period. The trial activates after email address confirmation.
- The trial period is completely free — no bank card is required.
- At the end of the trial period, access to Content is automatically discontinued. No charges are made.
- The duration and conditions of the trial period may vary and are specified during registration.
3. Subscription Cancellation
Unless explicitly stated otherwise when placing a specific order, automatic subscription renewal is disabled by default. This means:
- At the end of the paid period, access is automatically discontinued.
- To continue using the Service, you must purchase a new subscription.
- No special cancellation procedure is typically required.
If your subscription includes automatic renewal, you may cancel it at any time through your Account or by contacting support at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
4. Refund Terms
You may request a refund in the following cases:
- Technical issues — if the Service substantially fails to work on your equipment and the issue cannot be resolved by our support team.
- Double charge — if payment was charged twice in error.
- Unauthorised payment — if a charge was made without your consent.
Refund requests must be submitted within a reasonable time from when the grounds for refund arose. Each request is reviewed individually based on the circumstances.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an enquiry to [email protected] with the following information:
- Your account username or email address.
- Date and amount of the payment.
- Reason for the request.
We aim to review requests within 5 business days of receipt.
6. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Funds are returned via the same payment method used for the original transaction.
- The time for funds to arrive depends on the payment provider and may take 5 to 14 business days.
- For a full unused period, the full amount is refunded. For partially used subscriptions, the refund amount is determined on a case-by-case basis.
7. When Refunds Are Not Issued
Refunds are generally not issued in the following cases:
- The subscription was fully used during the paid period.
- Access to the Service was restricted or terminated due to the User's violation of the Terms of Service.
- Registration, activation, trial access, subscription or access to the Service was restricted, suspended or terminated due to the User's violation of the Terms of Service, including the use of prohibited email addresses, VPNs, proxy services, Tor, Private Relay, other IP-concealment or IP-alteration tools, or attempts to circumvent registration rules and technical restrictions.
- The refund request was submitted after an unreasonable period following the payment.
8. Consumer Rights
Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction grant you additional refund or cancellation rights, such provisions shall prevail over the terms set out in this section.
