Mir Vokrug HD is the high-definition version of Mir Vokrug, a Russian family educational and entertainment channel focused on discoveries, nature, travel and the world around us. The main channel began broadcasting on 1 April 2019 and was launched by Pervyy TVCh as a project for family viewing.
The schedule features documentaries and series about discoveries, inventions, astronomy, history, archaeology, geography, animals, plants, travel, future professions and unusual places on the planet. The channel combines curiosity, a family format and a calm educational tone.
