English Club TV guide for the week

English Club is an educational TV channel for English-language learning. The channel operates around the clock and has also been known as English Class in Russia since 16 June 2022.

The line-up centres on documentary and feature films, animated cartoons and music videos adapted for studying English. The programming is divided into topics and proficiency levels and organised into six-hour blocks, with several mini-blocks for different themes and language tasks.

All programme hosts are native speakers. The channel’s methodology is based on a communicative approach and language immersion without using a native language as an intermediary. The channel states that a year of daily 15-minute sessions covers about 2000 new words and 100 grammatical structures.

The channel is distributed by satellite with coverage of Europe, Asia and Africa. English Club is available through Russian and international cable and satellite television operators, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms and mobile applications.
