About Солнце (Solntse)
Solntse [RU+7] is a time-zone edition of the Russian children's channel Solntse, with programming shifted seven hours from Moscow time. It is intended for regions using UTC+10 local time, where animated series, family series and children's shows appear closer to local daytime and evening hours.
Solntse programming includes animation and family series for children and teenagers. The channel is built around licensed content from Russian and international producers, with an emphasis on family entertainment.
Solntse launched on 14 December 2022 and replaced the former Russian Disney channel. The owner is Media-1, with OOO 7TV and OOO Mercury Content as operators. Arzu Suleymanova has been the voice of Solntse since 2023.
In the Solntse [RU+7] schedule, the seven-hour shift is most visible in animated series, family series, daytime children's blocks, evening selections and repeats. The channel remains part of Solntse programming, while airtime is adapted for the eastern time zone.
