About DMAX HD
DMAX HD is the HD version of the German thematic channel DMAX. The HD feed uses 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) and follows the schedule of the main channel.
DMAX focuses on factual entertainment: cars, motorcycles, technology, repair, restoration, construction, adventure, survival, fishing, engineering, dangerous jobs and documentary strands about history. Steel Buddies is one of the channel's recognisable titles.
The German DMAX channel began broadcasting in 2006 and belongs to the Warner Bros Discovery family of channels. DMAX HD is available through cable, satellite, digital terrestrial and IPTV/OTT networks that carry the HD feed.
