About Русский роман HD (Russkiy Roman HD)
Russkiy Roman HD is a Russian film channel devoted to domestic romantic series and melodramas. The channel began broadcasting on 1 March 2012, operates around the clock in Russian and has broadcast in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) format since 1 April 2016.
The slogan "A Real Gift for All Fans of Russian Melodramas" gives the channel a clear editorial frame. Programming focuses on Russian melodramas, romantic series and themed cycles, mainly for women aged 25 to 54.
Films are usually shown in full, in blocks of two to four episodes, without continuing the story the next day. Lyubov Germanova is the voice of the channel. The channel is owned by AO Tsifrovoye Televideniye, also known as Digital Television. Its management has been based in Moscow. Russkiy Roman HD is distributed through cable, satellite, digital terrestrial and IPTV/OTT networks from Russian and international operators with HD reception.
