About Safina
Safina is a national state television channel of Tajikistan, launched on 3 September 2005. The channel is based in Dushanbe and has a broad cultural and general-interest profile.
The schedule includes cultural programmes, public and information editions, documentaries, films, concerts, educational cycles and entertainment formats. The name Safina means "ship", and the image fits the channel's line-up: the schedule carries subjects from cultural memory and national traditions to contemporary urban life.
