About LRT HD

LRT HD is the high-definition version of Lithuania’s main public television channel LRT. It belongs to the Lithuanian public broadcaster’s television line-up and carries news, culture, documentaries, education and entertainment in HD.

The schedule includes news editions, public-affairs programmes, documentaries, cultural projects, concerts, debates, series, films, sports and special broadcasts. The HD version keeps the general LRT profile while adding the technical format of high-definition broadcasting.

LRT HD broadcasts mainly in Lithuanian. News, cultural blocks, documentaries, evening programmes, films, sports events and repeat runs are visible parts of the schedule.

The channel is distributed through terrestrial television and TV provider networks. Its strength is a public Lithuanian schedule built around news, culture and the events of the day.
