Kinosemya is a Russian film TV channel dedicated to children's cinema and family films. The channel began broadcasting on 15 August 2016 in Russian and operates around the clock. The channel shows warm family stories, films with a positive tone and titles intended for shared viewing.
On air are children's cinema and feature-length animated films, superhero films, adventure, science fiction and films about friendship and family values. Evening airtime features themed film blocks and selections for family viewing. Kinosemya has been available in SDTV 576i 16:9 and HDTV 1080i 16:9 formats since 15 August 2016.
The channel is owned and founded by OOO TPO Red Media (Red Media). Kinosemya is available across Russia and is distributed through digital terrestrial television, cable networks, satellite platforms and IPTV/OTT platforms on the Russian pay-TV market.
