Evrokino is a Russian film channel devoted to foreign and European cinema. The channel began broadcasting on 1 September 2008, operates in Russian around the clock, and uses the slogan "Cinema without Borders".
Since 5 September 2018, Evrokino has broadcast in 576i 16:9 (SDTV) and 1080i 16:9 (HDTV). On air are foreign feature films, European cinema and reports from European film festivals.
Regular projects include "Kinoreportazh" (Cinema Reportage), with reviews of European festivals, and "Kinematograficheskiy vecher" (Cinematic Evening), with selections of art-house films. In 2024, the channel launched "Novye golosa Evropy" (New Voices of Europe), a cycle featuring debut works by young directors.
Mikhail Georgiu has been the channel voice since 2024, while Yuriy Brezhnev held that role in 2014-2021 and Mikhail Sushkov in 2021-2022. The channel is owned by AO Telekompaniya STREAM, and the legal name of the operator is OOO YEVROKINO. Evrokino is distributed through cable and satellite networks, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms of Russian operators.
