About H2 HD
H2 HD is the HD version of the international television brand H2, also known as History2. It is a sister channel of History with a documentary line-up about history, civilizations, scientific discoveries and large archival stories.
The H2 brand appeared in the United States in September 2011 after History International was renamed. In the United States it was later replaced by Vice TV, while in other countries the brand continued, and from 2019 the remaining H2 versions gradually moved toward the History2 name.
The H2 HD line-up includes documentaries and series from the History catalogue: ancient cultures, wars, technology, mysteries of the past, expeditions and popular-science projects. The channel is available through cable and satellite networks from Russian and international operators that support HD broadcasting.
