About Русский детектив (Russkiy Detektiv)
Russkiy Detektiv is a Russian film channel dedicated to domestic detective series and films. It began broadcasting on 4 April 2014, operates in Russian around the clock and has carried a 16+ age rating since 2 August 2021.
The schedule includes Russian detective series, crime stories, investigations and films made in Russia. On air are themed screenings and cycles about mysteries, crimes, investigative work and tense drama.
From 4 April 2014 to 31 August 2021, the channel used the 576i 4:3 (SDTV) format, and on 1 September 2021 it switched to widescreen 576i 16:9 (SDTV). In 2014 it was owned by FGUP VGTRK, and since 2014 it has belonged to AO Tsifrovoye Televideniye (Digital Television).
Russkiy Detektiv is available through cable and satellite networks, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms in Russia and abroad.
