Bridge TV HD is the high-definition version of the Russian music and entertainment TV channel Bridge TV, aimed at an audience aged 16 and over. The channel broadcasts in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) format and operates in Russian around the clock. The channel is part of the family of music channels of the Bridge Media holding.
The line-up centres on clips by foreign performers and Russian music premieres, in-house cycles and exclusive materials from filming. The channel airs the in-house chart "Bridge TV TOP10", as well as "#Detali" with reports from clip shoots, fan meetings, rehearsals, concerts and festivals, and "Live" with live performances by artists and bands. The HD version shows clips and concert selections in high definition.
The main Bridge TV channel began full broadcasting on 1 October 2005. On 11 December 2005, the channel's own chart "Bridge Parade TOP20" appeared on air, which later changed its format and name to "Bridge TV TOP10". In November 2006, Russian clips began to appear on the channel. Bridge TV is among the top three most-watched music channels in cable networks. Bridge TV HD is available through Russian cable and satellite television operators, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms that support HD broadcasting.
