About Русская комедия (Russkaya Komediya)
Russkaya Komediya is a Russian film channel devoted to Russian comedy films and series. The channel began broadcasting on 1 November 2015, operates around the clock in Russian and is produced by Tsifrovoye Televideniye (Digital Television), owned by VGTRK and Rostelecom.
The line-up consists of films and series in humour, lyrical comedy and satire. The schedule is built around thematic movie blocks, cycles of Russian comedy classics, contemporary premieres and repeats of familiar projects.
The channel is broadcast in 576i 16:9 SDTV and 1080i 16:9 HDTV formats. Russkaya Komediya is available through digital terrestrial television, cable and satellite networks from Russian and international operators, as well as IPTV/OTT services.
