About Глазами туриста (Glazami Turista)
Glazami Turista is a Russian educational television channel about travel and nature. It began on 23 July 2014 and broadcasts around the clock in Russian.
The brand slogan is "Sozdayom televideniye vmeste" (Creating Television Together). The schedule brings together films by experienced camera operators and new travel-video authors, journey diaries, travel features, overviews of natural regions and stories about popular destinations.
The channel is owned by Firma BIS LLC, and Igor Chernyshev is its chief editor. The picture is transmitted in 576i 16:9 (SDTV), 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) and 2160i 16:9 (UHDTV). Glazami Turista is carried through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite platforms used by Russian and international operators.
