About Channel 13
Channel 13 Israel is an Israeli commercial television channel in Hebrew, also known as Reshet 13. It began operating as a standalone channel on 1 November 2017 after Israel’s television reform and the closure of the former Channel 2.
The Channel 13 schedule combines news, current-affairs programming, magazine formats, documentaries, reality shows, drama series and entertainment programmes. News remains a major part of the brand: the daily agenda, evening bulletins, studio discussions and special editions during major events.
After the merger with Channel 10 in 2019, Channel 13 became one of Israel’s notable commercial television channels. The schedule includes news, evening premieres, repeats, reality blocks and current studio programmes. The channel is distributed in Israel through terrestrial television and operator TV networks.
