Zhara is a Russian music television channel connected with the international Zhara music festival in Baku. Its round-the-clock Russian-language broadcast brings together Russian pop music, concert shows and festival performances.
The programme centres on concerts and gala editions from the Zhara festival, music-video selections, solo programmes and themed artist evenings. Performers featured in the schedule include Grigory Leps, Emin Agalarov, Stas Mikhailov, Philipp Kirkorov, Timati, Vladimir Presnyakov, Nyusha, Leonid Agutin, A-Studio, Nikolay Baskov, Valeriya, Polina Gagarina, Ani Lorak and other popular artists.
The channel’s music direction is built around concert cycles, holiday editions and video selections.
