About Sky Atlantic HD
Sky Atlantic HD is the HD version of the British premium series channel Sky Atlantic. The channel broadcasts in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV), runs in English and focuses on drama series, miniseries and authored television projects.
The schedule is built around American series from HBO and other studios, including Game of Thrones, Succession, The White Lotus, Westworld, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us and Boardwalk Empire. The line-up also includes Sky Studios originals, documentary strands, themed marathons and repeat runs of major series.
Sky Atlantic began broadcasting in the United Kingdom on 1 February 2011 and became one of Sky’s key channels for premium series. The channel is owned by Sky, the British media business within Comcast Corporation. Sky Atlantic HD is distributed through cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT pay-TV platforms.
