Ictimai TV is Azerbaijan's public television channel, launched on 29 August 2005. The channel broadcasts in Azerbaijani and occupies a distinct place alongside the country's state and private broadcasters.
The Ictimai TV programme includes news, public-affairs programmes, cultural projects, documentary cycles, music editions, entertainment formats and special broadcasts. The channel is connected with public topics: national events, cultural life, international issues and major television projects all appear in its schedule.
Ictimai TV is also known as Azerbaijan's broadcaster for international television events, including music contests and special projects. The channel is distributed through terrestrial television, cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks with Azerbaijani channels.
