About Medeniyyet
Medeniyyet is an Azerbaijani cultural television channel devoted to art, music, theatre, literature and national heritage. The channel was launched in 2011 and is connected with the AzTV television structure.
The Medeniyyet programme includes concerts, programmes about mugham and folk music, theatre productions, documentaries about artists, writers and historical monuments, cultural conversations, festival editions and archive materials. The channel focuses on cultural memory, stage art and educational projects.
Medeniyyet broadcasts in Azerbaijani. The channel is distributed through terrestrial television, cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks that carry Azerbaijani channels.
