Bolshaya Aziya is a Russian special-interest TV channel focused on Asia. It went on air on 1 June 2017 and broadcasts in Russian.
The line-up centres on the daily news programme "Novosti" (News), the talk series "Aktualnye intervyu" (Current Interviews) with ambassadors and political figures from Asian countries, and the analytical programme "Klub ekspertov" (Experts’ Club) featuring Asian-studies scholars and academics. Its slogan reads "Opening Asia for Russia".
The channel is owned by OOO Bolshaya Aziya, with Alexander Lebedev as general director. Bolshaya Aziya broadcasts in 576i 16:9 (SDTV) and 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) formats and is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators.
