Khuzur is a Russian Muslim educational television channel in Russian and Tatar. Also known as Khuzur TV, it began broadcasting on 13 March 2018, and its control centre is located in Kazan.
The Khuzur programme is devoted to traditional Islam, Tatar culture, religious education and family viewing. It includes programmes about the rules, rites, practices and history of Islam in Russia, spiritual conversations, cultural formats, films, children’s animation and educational television shows.
The channel keeps a calm educational tone, connecting religious subjects with everyday family life, culture and personal practice. Khuzur is distributed through cable and IPTV networks, while the schedule brings together religious cycles, children’s editions, cultural programmes and evening films.
