About LA 1 HD (La 1 HD Spain)
La 1 HD Spain is the HD version of La 1, the main nationwide channel of Televisión Española within RTVE. The channel traces its history to 28 October 1956, when regular television broadcasting began in Spain.
Today La 1 works as a general public-service channel. Its schedule includes Telediario news bulletins, information and current-affairs programmes, magazine formats, series, feature films, entertainment shows, special events and sports coverage.
La 1 HD keeps the main channel’s line-up and broadcasts in Spanish. The schedule brings together news, prime-time programming, national events, major television premieres and sports coverage from Spain’s public broadcaster.
