O2TV is a Russian entertainment and music television channel with round-the-clock Russian-language broadcasting. The channel is free to receive in more than 300 Russian cities and combines interactive formats, music, shows and live audience response.
The schedule brings together interactive music programmes, entertainment shows, concert selections and themed cycles. Its main historical music project was "Brat Zhivyom!" (Taking It Live), where well-known and emerging bands performed live and answered questions from the studio and hosts.
Over the years, O2TV also aired political live talk shows such as "Master-Klass s Mikhailom Leontievym", "Politkokteyl s Filippom Leontievym", "Chernoye i Beloye" and "Razgovor Bez Pravil". Broadcasting began in July 2004, and the name O2TV appeared on 1 September 2005. A 2006 rebrand temporarily moved the channel toward socio-political programming, the brand changed to O2 on 30 August 2013, and a full relaunch with a new team, logo and graphics followed on 1 March 2017.
In Russia, O2TV is distributed through cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks.
