About Осетия Иристон (Osetiya Iryston)
Osetiya Iryston is the national television channel of the Republic of North Ossetia — Alania. The channel began broadcasting on 1 December 2017, operates around the clock and broadcasts in Ossetian and Russian.
Regional news, events in the republic, culture, traditions and public life of North Ossetia form the core of the schedule. It includes news editions, analysis, public-affairs projects, interviews, children’s programmes, educational cycles and stories about the region’s tourism potential.
The channel is also known as Osetiya-Iryston and Iryston TV, and its broadcast centre is located in Vladikavkaz. Osetiya Iryston connects news, language, traditions and current themes of the republic in a national-cultural regional broadcast. The schedule includes daily editions, cultural cycles, interviews and children’s programmes.
