About Курай TV HD (Kurai TV HD)
Kurai TV HD is the high-definition version of Kurai TV, the first Bashkir music television channel broadcasting in the Bashkir language. The channel broadcasts in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV), operates 24 hours a day and keeps the music direction of the main version.
Its core audience is 30 to 50. The line-up includes concerts of Bashkir pop and variety performers, songs by young artists, new music videos, retro concerts and solo programmes. Music makes up about 80 percent of the airtime.
The channel airs cycles such as "Moñlo irtä", "Yırzarım hezzeñ ösön", "Yondozlo tön", "Onotolor timä.", "Yäşter tauışı", "Premyera", "Kis ulturup", "Naza", "Ilham", "Asılyär", "Yırlı bülak", "Yöräk hüze" and the weekly chart "Qurai-hit". In the HD version, Bashkir music, concert recordings, music videos and solo programmes are shown in high definition. The main Kurai TV channel began broadcasting in 2009, based on the music programme Volshebnyy kurai (Magic kurai), which aired on BST. Kurai TV HD is available through Russian cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks that support HD broadcasting.
