Bashkortostan 24 HD is a regional information and entertainment channel about life in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The channel began broadcasting in 2016, operates around the clock and produces programmes in Bashkir and Russian.
The schedule includes news, morning and evening formats, city editions, interviews, live reports and projects about events in Ufa and the districts of the republic. Notable programmes include "Dobroye utro, Ufa!" (Good Morning, Ufa!), "Ufimskiy vecher" (Ufa Evening), the Bashkir version "Ofo Kistare" and "Ufimskiye Vesti" (Ufa News).
The channel also includes relay blocks from Radio Rossiya Bashkortostan, Mayak and the online radio Vatan. Bashkortostan 24 HD is part of the Bashkortostan television and radio company, headed by Rustam Sadykov, and is connected with the VGTRK system. The HD version continues the main channel’s regional news, studio and city-reporting output in 1080i. The schedule is built around news editions, morning blocks, evening programmes and special broadcasts.
