12 Kanal (Omsk) is a regional television channel of the Omsk Region with in-house production. The channel began broadcasting on 14 September 1998, works in Russian and belongs to the GTRK Omsk structure.
The schedule includes news, information, analytical, educational and entertainment programmes, documentary cycles, films, series, animated cartoons and sports broadcasts. The daily programme "Chas novostey" (News Hour) covers events in Omsk, the region, the country and the world, while journalists collect comments from participants, eyewitnesses and experts.
12 Kanal combines a local news service, original projects and a regional television magazine about life in the Omsk Region. Its line-up includes stories about city events, social topics, culture and sport, including hockey.
