Katun 24 is a Russian regional round-the-clock information television channel of Altai Krai. The channel broadcasts in Russian and covers events in Barnaul, Biysk and other cities of the region.
The line-up includes news editions about regional topics and current events in Altai Krai, daily interviews with local residents and regional guests, morning programmes with presenters and live broadcasts of significant events. The channel team creates more than 30 in-house television programmes, and live broadcasts use the only mobile television station in Altai Krai.
The schedule is based on daily information broadcasts, reports from event sites and analytical studios with a focus on local topics. The channel was established by the Altai Krai administration in 2009: test broadcasting started on 1 May, and round-the-clock broadcasting began on 25 May with support from the regional administration and Governor Aleksandr Karlin. The channel’s centre is located in Barnaul, and access is provided through regional cable, satellite and IPTV/OTT networks.
