About Amedia Premium HD

Amedia Premium HD is a Russian premium channel about international series, films and documentary cinema. The HD version uses the 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) format, and an SD version in 576i 16:9 also exists. The channel broadcasts in Russian around the clock and has an 18+ age rating.

Amedia Premium HD shows new international series, and some premieres air almost simultaneously with their worldwide release. The channel also presents films by well-known directors, Russian commercial and arthouse cinema, documentary releases, festival and awards projects, concerts and music programmes.

The channel began broadcasting on 31 May 2013. It was founded by Amediateka, part of Access Industries, and is operated by OOO A Serial. Sister channels include A1, A2 and Amedia Hit.

Amedia Premium HD is distributed by subscription through cable and satellite networks, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms.
