About Shant HD
Shant HD is the HD version of Armenia’s private television channel Shant TV. The main channel was founded by Arthur Yezekyan in Gyumri in 1994, then expanded to national coverage and moved its production centre to Yerevan.
The Shant schedule brings together news programmes, entertainment shows, drama series, films, documentary projects and family formats. The HD version follows the main channel’s line-up in 1080i.
Its schedule brings together news editions, premieres, series and evening shows. Shant TV is one of Armenia’s notable private media companies. The channel broadcasts in Armenian and combines local news, entertainment and original television projects. Shant HD is carried in television networks that support HD broadcasting.
