About ОТР (OTR)

OTR is a Russian federal public television channel. Its full name is "Public Television of Russia". The channel is owned by the Government of the Russian Federation and has been broadcasting around the clock since 19 May 2013.

The programme mix includes news, analytical talk shows, broadcasts about executive authorities, courts and local self-government, cultural and educational programmes, and feature films.

Vitaly Ignatenko has served as the channel's general director since 1 July 2021. OTR broadcasts in 576i (SDTV) and 1080i (HDTV) formats and is available via digital terrestrial television, Russian cable networks and satellite providers.
