About Кинопремьера HD (Kinopremyera HD)

Kinopremyera HD is a Russian film TV channel dedicated to premieres of foreign and domestic cinema. The channel began broadcasting on 1 October 2002 under the name NTV-Plus Premyera, replacing NTV-Plus Boyevik, and operates in Russian around the clock. On 15 August 2016, it was renamed Kinopremyera HD and switched to the 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) format.

The slogan is "Novinki kinematografa 24 chasa v sutki" (New cinema releases 24 hours a day). Kinopremyera HD shows new films that have not previously aired on Russian TV channels. Broadcasting runs without commercial breaks, and most films are shown with multi-channel Dolby Digital sound.

The channel is owned by the Red Media holding. Historically, it was part of the NTV-Plus film line. Kinopremyera HD is distributed in HD through cable and satellite networks, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms.
