About РБК ТВ (RBC TV)

RBC TV is a Russian business television channel specialising in economic, financial and political news. The channel launched on 1 September 2003, and since 14 February 2005 it has been broadcasting around the clock. In November 2012, the Federal Antimonopoly Service recognised the channel as federal.

RBC TV covers news and analytical programmes. Recurring shows include "Rynki" (Markets), "ChEZ. Chto eto znachit" (ChEZ: What Does It Mean?), "Den. Glavnoye" (The Day: Main Stories), "Sport. Stavki. Sobytiya" (Sport, Bets, Events) and "Insait" (Insight).

RBC TV is owned by OAO RBC, with Ilya Doronov as managing director. The headquarters are in Moscow. RBC TV broadcasts in 576i (SDTV) and 1080i (HDTV) formats and is available via digital terrestrial television, cable and satellite networks of Russian operators.
