About TVR Craiova
TVR Craiova is a regional channel of Romania's public broadcaster TVR for Craiova and Oltenia. The channel covers life in south-western Romania through news, cultural stories, public-affairs discussions and reports from towns across the region.
The TVR Craiova studio was established in 1996, and regular broadcasting began in 1998 with a transmission from central Craiova.
Its line-up includes regional news, programmes about local politics and economy, cultural magazines, features on traditions, folklore, sport and events in Oltenia.
TVR Craiova gathers subjects from the south-west of the country into a regional broadcast where local stories stand beside TVR's public and cultural projects.
