About Мир HD (Mir HD)
Mir HD is the HD version of Mir. Since 1 January 2015, the HD version has been showing the main Mir channel in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV).
The HD version keeps the same news, analytical programmes and children's programming. Recurring shows include the analytical programme "Vmeste" (Together), hosted by Yekaterina Abramova. The channel's slogan is "This Amazing World".
The main channel Mir is an interstate TV channel of CIS member states and has been broadcasting its own television service since 1 September 2003. Mir is part of the Interstate TV and Radio Company Mir (MTRK Mir), headed by Radik Batyrshin. Mir HD is available via digital terrestrial television, cable and satellite networks of operators across CIS countries, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms.
