Discovery TV guide for the week

Discovery is an international educational television channel. The channel has been distributed in Russia since 21 April 1998, originally through pay-TV networks. Since 4 March 2014, broadcasting has been in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) widescreen format.

Discovery shows documentary films and popular-science programmes about technology, nature, history and scientific discoveries. The programme "Delo Tekhniki" (A Matter of Technology) was hosted by Sergey Apresov, editor-in-chief of the Russian Popular Mechanics magazine.

Discovery is part of Warner Bros. Discovery, formed after the merger of Discovery Communications and WarnerMedia. Discovery is available through cable and satellite networks of Russian and international operators, as well as IPTV/OTT platforms.
