About Ратник HD (Ratnik HD)
Ratnik HD is the high-definition version of the Russian social-educational channel Ratnik. The channel is dedicated to Russian history, military memory, culture and educational themes for a youth audience.
The base channel launched on 17 April 2017. The Ratnik HD line-up includes historical films, documentary cycles, learning programmes, animation, popular-science editions, films about the Great Patriotic War, stories about notable people, transport history, sport and cultural memory.
The HD version keeps Ratnik's educational character and gives the schedule a clear shape for viewers interested in history, civic upbringing, memorial dates, museum stories and documentary storytelling.
