Dorama is a Russian series channel about East Asian television drama and romantic serial storytelling. The channel launched on 1 October 2017 and is connected with Time Media Group and Gazprom-Media Holding.
The Dorama schedule includes Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese series, selected Turkish dramas, themed selections, premieres, multi-episode cycles, repeat broadcasts and inter-programme material about Asian cinema. Its line-up is shaped by long emotional arcs, family conflicts, romantic storylines and cultural details.
Dorama keeps a soft serial rhythm: premieres alternate with repeat showings, cycles group stories by mood, and themed selections highlight countries, genres and actor lines.
