About Хит HD (Hit HD)
Hit HD is the high-definition version of the Russian film channel Hit. The channel shows popular films from different years, from familiar classics to releases of recent decades.
The channel launched on 3 February 2020, broadcasts in Russian around the clock and uses the 1080i 16:9 format. Its slogan, "From classics to film hits of recent years", clearly describes the programming idea: Russian and international feature films, genre hits, time-tested titles and newer films share the same schedule.
The line-up is shaped by thematic film blocks in which adventure, comedy, drama, action and family cinema follow one another in an easy home-viewing rhythm. Hit HD belongs to Pervyy TVCh and remains part of a thematic movie line with recognisable titles, repeats and evening selections.
