Cinema HD is the high-definition version of the film channel Cinema. It shows European films of the twentieth century and world cinema hits from the past, broadcasts around the clock in Russian and uses the slogan "The screening begins".
The schedule includes thematic film blocks and the Cinéma strand, dedicated to notable titles from European and world film history. The selection brings together famous names and films shaped by period, authorial style, acting tradition and the atmosphere of a classic cinema hall.
The channel's history began on 1 November 2006 under the name Park Razvlecheniy (Amusement Park), and on 1 February 2017 the project received the name Cinema. Since 2015 it has belonged to the Digital Television media holding. Ivan Kudryavtsev is the editor-in-chief, and Viktor Bokhon has been the channel voice since 2019. The Cinema HD TV guide reflects European classics, world hits, themed blocks and film history.
