Makan33 [IL] is an Israeli public Arabic-language television channel of the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, known internationally as IPBC. The channel began broadcasting on 15 May 2017 after the reform of public broadcasting.
The Makan33 [IL] schedule includes Arabic-language news, current-affairs programmes, documentary series, cultural shows, films, drama series and projects about the everyday life of Arab communities. The channel addresses public life, culture, education, regional context and themes of the Arabic-speaking part of Israeli society.
