About Кинохит HD (Kinohit HD)
Kinohit HD is the high-definition version of Kinohit, a Russian film channel focused on popular feature films from different years. The channel brings together recognizable Russian and international titles, genre selections and films for familiar movie viewing.
The schedule includes film hits from different eras, popular genre cinema, notable releases from earlier years, Russian and foreign films, and themed screenings. The main Kinohit channel began broadcasting on 15 November 2004, switched to round-the-clock operation in 2005 and received its current name on 15 August 2016.
Since 2015, the channel has been connected with the Red Media holding. The Kinohit HD TV guide shows premieres, reruns, film evenings and selections where an action film, drama, comedy, adventure title and familiar hit can stand next to each other.
