About Моя планета HD (Moya Planeta HD)
Moya Planeta HD is the HD version of Moya Planeta, a Russian educational travel channel, broadcast in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) and aligned with the main channel's line-up. Its line-up centres on documentary films and series about countries, cultures and nature.
The channel uses the slogan "Travel without borders!". The main channel Moya Planeta began broadcasting on 1 November 2009 and operates around the clock. The main channel has been broadcasting in HD format since 1 December 2019.
The channel is part of the Tsifrovoye Televideniye (Digital Television) holding, a joint venture of VGTRK and Rostelecom. Nikolai Tabashnikov serves as the channel's chief editor.
The HD version is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators.
