RTG TV (Russian Travel Guide) is a Russian educational TV channel. Broadcasting began on 1 May 2009 and continues around the clock. Programming is delivered in three languages: Russian, English and Turkish.
The line-up centres on documentary films about little-known places and the cultural and geographical heritage of Russia. Its slogan is "See Russia through the eyes of our hosts".
RTG Corp., a Bridge Media subsidiary controlled by Mikhail Gutseriev, owns the channel. Natalya Vladimirovna Yasnitskaya serves as general director. Since 30 July 2013, broadcasts have used 16:9 SDTV and HDTV formats. RTG TV is available through cable networks of Russian and international operators across Russia and the CIS.
