About Домашние животные (Domashnie Zhivotnye)
Domashnie Zhivotnye is a Russian educational and entertainment TV channel dedicated to the relationships between people and pets. The channel began broadcasting on 14 September 2009 and operates around the clock in Russian.
The line-up centres on documentary films and series about dogs, cats and other pets, pet-care advice and stories about people and their animals. Since 5 September 2018, the channel has been broadcasting in 576i 16:9 (SDTV), before that, from launch, it used the 576i 4:3 (SDTV) format.
The channel is owned by AO Telekompaniya STREAM. Domashnie Zhivotnye is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators, as well as IPTV platforms.
