Unknown Russia HD is a Russian educational television channel about people, places and the country's history. Broadcasting began on 15 May 2023, the channel runs around the clock, and it belongs to the NTV family of themed channels.
The programme consists of documentary cycles about notable people in Russia: scientists, doctors, teachers, writers, musicians and other figures whose biographies reveal the country through individual lives. A separate strand is devoted to historical events, travel routes, landmarks and nature reserves.
